When You're Afraid of What God Might Ask

Explore fear of surrender, not unbelief.

It's not that you don't believe.

You do.

It's that you're afraid of what believing might cost you.

What if God asks for the relationship you're holding onto?
What if He asks for the career you've built?
What if He asks for the plan you're attached to?

So you keep God at a safe distance.
Close enough for comfort.
Far enough to avoid a real answer.

The fear is not unbelief.
It's a reluctance to surrender control.

And God is not honoured by your performance.
He's honoured by your willingness to trust Him
with what you're afraid to lose.

This week, ask yourself one honest question:

"What am I withholding?"

Not what you think you should give.
What you're actually afraid to release.

Bring it to God plainly.
You don't have to be ready to let go.
You just have to be honest about why you're holding on.
