When Religion Failed You But God Didn't

Distinguish human systems from God Himself.

Something broke.

The system. The institution. The people.
The version of faith you inherited
failed you in some way.

Maybe it was hypocrisy.
Maybe it was control.
Maybe it was shallow answers to deep pain.

And now you're not sure what to do with God.

Here's what you need to hear:

You can name what failed
without using it to abandon what is true.

The system is not the substance.
The institution is not the author of faith.
The people who hurt you are not the final word on God.

This week, name what failed.
Be honest about the disappointment.
But don't let the failure of religion
become an excuse to walk away from the real thing.

God is not threatened by your honesty.
He can handle your disappointment.
And He is not the same as the people who failed you.
